Union Monthly meetings

AFGE Local 2152 General Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Tahoe Room at the Reno VHA facility.  

**PLEASE NOTE: due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will be meeting remotely via Zoom technology.**

Meeting login information will be provided by email to members at least 24-48 hours in advance of the virtual union monthly meeting. 

What is Zoom? 

Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local desktop client and a mobile app that allows users to meet online, with or without video. A Zoom meeting has one person that hosts the meeting and all other participants have equal footing. 

The host can share hosting responsibilities with other participants and any participant can share their screen. Meetings can have up to 100 participants. You can use Zoom from your smart phone, a tablet, laptop or desktop computer from your home or office.

Union members may bring guests (but management cannot attend), non-union bargaining members may attend with permission from an officer. We encourage EVERY union member to come and get involved in YOUR UNION. We are stronger when we stand together. Union Stewards are strongly encouraged to attend as many meetings as they can.

The Tahoe Room is located on the 5th floor right next to the purple elevators.

Miss a meeting? Want to keep up to date with what is happening with YOUR Union? As a member in good standing, it is your right to review meeting minutes from past meetings so that you may keep up to date with what is happening in your Union. 

If you would like to review a past meeting's minutes, please contact and officer, who will provide them to you. Since the meeting minutes may contain confidential Union information, including but not limited to budget information, pending issues, and strategy, proper care must be taken in handling. 

Your Union contact will work with you on this. If you would like to review the meeting minutes from the past meeting, which have not yet been approved by the membership, please be advised that as the minutes have not been approved, they may contain typos, omissions, or incorrect information.
